About Koochbhi
Koochbhi is India’s Skill Exchange—a voice-first platform for people who have a practical skill and people who need that skill. A skill may be technical, creative, domestic, educational or everyday. You can speak or type in your own language; voice assistant helps you describe the need or capability, and you confirm every step yourself.
It is operated by Koochbhi Private Limited, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Koochbhi is a technology platform for skill exchange; it is not the employer or contractor of any user and does not guarantee work or income.
What Koochbhi does today
- Lets people describe the work they can do, or the work they need, by voice or by typing.
- Shows nearby opportunities and people, with the fit signals used to order them.
- Supports interest, selection, agreement and chat between the two people involved.
- Offers a way to report problems and make complaints, with a reference number.
Current stage
Koochbhi is in a pilot. No platform fee is charged in the pilot. Android users can install the app from Google Play; the iPhone app is coming soon. See How it works and Payments & Settlement for what is and is not live.
