HOW IT WORKS
How Koochbhi works
Two people are involved in every job: the person who needs work done (the requester) and the person who does the work (the provider). Koochbhi is the platform between them. You confirm every step; a pause or silence never posts, accepts or pays anything.
1. Tell Bozu
Choose “I want work done” or “I am ready to work”. Tap Start speaking, say what you need or can do, then tap Finish speaking (or type). Check the words on screen, correct them, and press Continue. You can Cancel at any time.
2. Review the details
Check the task, area, price and timing. Nothing is posted until you confirm the summary.
3. Find each other
Requesters see matching providers; providers see matching jobs. A provider can show interest. The requester chooses a person — only after pressing a confirmation button.
4. Agreement
Before work begins both people see the job, the price they agreed and the platform terms, and each explicitly accepts. After acceptance the two people can chat and exchange contact details inside Koochbhi.
5. Payment
In the current pilot no platform fee is charged and the in-app transaction test charges ₹0. Live payment collection is described on Payments & Settlement. Before any payment you will be shown who you are paying, the scope, the total, and the provider's net earnings.
6. Work and completion
The provider does the work and marks it complete; the requester confirms. “Payment confirmed”, “work completed”, “payment released” and “bank credited” are four different things and are shown separately.
7. Problems and disputes
If something goes wrong, use Report an issue. See Cancellation & Refunds and Grievance Redressal.
8. Bank settlement
When live payments are enabled, money for completed work is paid out to the provider's bank/UPI account. The collection route, release trigger and expected bank-credit timing are published on Payments & Settlement; until they are live, Koochbhi does not promise payout timing.
If your location is unavailable
Type a city, village, PIN code, post office or DIGIPIN. Koochbhi asks for device location only when you tap a nearby-work action and never invents a location.

Never share OTPs, UPI PINs, bank PINs, card details or passwords with anyone — including in chat. See Trust & Safety.
